Donald E. Kieso, PhD, CPA, received his bachelor's degree from Aurora University and his doctorate in accounting from the University of Illinois. He is currently the KPMG Peat Marwick Emeritus Professor of Accounting at Northern Illinois University.

Jill Mitchell, MS, MEd, CIA, is a Lecturer at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Prior to joining the faculty at McIntire, she was a Professor of Accounting at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) and an adjunct instructor at George Mason University (GMU).
